You’ve most likely seen “lived in hair” all over social media as it has been very popular over the last several years! Balayage is a French term meaning “to sweep”- it is the art of sweeping lightener onto the hair/painting the hair in a way that looks very natural and sunkissed, like you’ve spent all summer at the beach. This look is meant to utilize and enhance your natural color for dimension. Your hair color will grow out seamlessly and beautifully over time and is much less maintenance than traditional highlights of the past. This technique can be customized to fit your unique needs and lifestyle.
With the use of proper home care products you can go anywhere from 3 to 6 months in between appointments. Using the products I recommend to you is essential in preserving your hair’s color and health. Glazing is recommended every 6-8 weeks to refresh the tone and enhance shine, but not always necessary if you are using the right products at home!
